Most of the Windsor Writing Arm chairs were produced in Connecticut during the late 1700’s.  Historically a writing tablet was sometimes attached to an existing chair to adapt it to a writing arm chair. 

The Writing Arm chair is quite versatile.  It can be used to write in a diary, journal, or support a laptop computer or to sit at and read the morning paper while drinking your coffee.  This chair is available with the writing tablet on either the right or left hand side.
